King’s Cross Theatre announced as Theatre Building of the Year at The Stage Awards.
The world's oldest and best theatre publication, The Stage, has announced the winners of its annual The Stage Awards at a ceremony at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
Guys and Dolls today announces that the award-winning actor Rebel Wilson will be joining the West End cast for a strictly limited 8 weeks only at the Phoenix Theatre. Rebel is set to play the part of Miss Adelaide from Tuesday 28 June until Sunday 21 August 2016. Guys and Dolls also announces the opening of a new booking period, with tickets now available until 7 January 2017.
Leading theatre critic, Mark Shenton, names King's Cross Theatre as his top venue.
"Here's a theatre that's a true game-changer, not to mention a shape-shifter. It's a West End theatre – with the seating capacity of one – and officially designated as one by the theatre's professional trade body, the Society of London Theatre, so productions that play there are eligible for the Olivier Awards."

Kings Cross Theatre has added two new purpose built theatres to its site; one for the Donmar’s all female Shakespeare trilogy, and the other for the London transfer of David Bowie’s musical ‘Lazarus’, which BOS is also producing. Both shows open this Autumn 2016.
