Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens debuted in 2009 staged in a purpose built theatre pavilion in the Royal Kensington Gardens where J.M Barrie originally conceived the character of Peter Pan.
Directed by Ben Harrison and designed by Bill Dudley, a distinguishing feature of the production was it’s in-the-round staging with scenic design that was projected in 360 degrees on the inner surfaces of the tent, a world first in integrating CGI and theatre on this scale. Conceived by an award winning creative team, the beloved family tale captured the imagination of adults and children alike, and was the second-highest grossing show of the London summer theatre season.
