The Railway Children

PRODUCER & GENERAL MANAGER

Set in the purpose built 1,000 seat King’s Cross Theatre, this breath-taking show based on the much loved book features a stage built around a real train track, and a beautiful 60 tonne vintage locomotive that steams into the theatre to delight all ages. A truly unique theatrical experience, The Railway Children won the Olivier Award for BEST ENTERTAINMENT in its previous home at Waterloo in 2011.

The Railway Children was originally staged by York Theatre Royal in partnership with the National Railway Museum in 2008, and ran for two packed summer seasons on location at the museum in York. In 2010, the production transferred to Waterloo Station, playing to sell out houses in the former Eurostar terminal.

The show returned to Waterloo in 2011 before crossing the Atlantic and opening in Toronto, Canada. The show ran at King’s Cross Station from 2014 – 2017.
